Folklore ensemble Zemplinčane SVOJINA was founded in 2002, with the goal to spread folklore traditions, contribute to the education of children and youth, and develop an appreciation and love for the folklore and villages of our region. Zemplinčane SVOJINA has more than 40 members made up of former members of folklore groups ZEMPLIN, LABOREC, and JAHODNA, who’s aim is to represent the Zemplin region. The group is special in that the members perform together with their children. Mr. Alojz Štofega is the group’s artistic director.

The group has performed at numerous events both at home and at international festivals, including events in Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, and Belgium.

This event is open to the public and will take place rain or shine.
